MINISTRY APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM

The Ministry Apprenticeship Program is designed for enrolled college students who want to understand and experience all the inner workings of the local church to decide if they want to pursue vocational ministry. It’s designed to help students become more aware of their character, competency, strengths, and weaknesses while increasing their understanding of the disciple-making process. Faith Formation Project, in partnership with Local Church, allows students to explore different ministries behind the scenes and what is needed to make each ministry function and thrive. Our hope is that we can train the next generation for any professional area in the future.

 MAP Curriculum

    FORMED by Encounter

    FORMED with Narrative

    FORMED for Mission

  • Students will create a personal mission statement and create a growth and accountability plan. Students will dive into ministry frameworks and expressions. Course work through understanding modality and sodality structures. Students will process through non-profits structures and navigating finances and financial stewardship.

  • Students will partner with Local Church in Marietta, helping in multiple ministries.

  • Students will gain exposure to other churches through Foursquare, Commission Collective, and Searock Network. We aim to foster long-term friendships with like-minded missional individuals in a similar stage of life.

We encourage our students to raise support as missionaries to their campuses. Financial accountability is provided by FFP and Local Church. Money raised goes towards ministry expenses and living expenses of the MAP student.
